Weskalia's Kamisama no Memo-chou Tv Review

Rated: 8

There's something almost careless about Kami-sama no Memo-chou. For all the labyrinthine coiling of its plot—which involves a self-proclaimed NEET detective, a missing debtor, an evil drug schemer, baseball match, rivalry gang—most of it comes about almost as a byproduct of the characters and the perverse romanticism of their lives. That's a sign of laziness; KamiMemo is not quite as crisp or intensely involved as its predecessors, partly because of a more casual style and partly because it will take much longer to get itself established. That fault cannot be explained away just by its shorter length than its predecessors, although that may, perhaps, indicate that twelve episodes is a running time just a bit too narrow for a series like this.

I like the opening a lot, it's quite catchy. The ending sounds pretty good as well. I like the character designs as well. I figured this would be a good series because I do like mysteries and detective series if they are done correctly. The cases so far are good. I love Alice and Narumi. I’m fairly sure that I saw what you could call a confession of love between Alice and Narumi. While there may not have been any obvious feelings attached to the glorious moment when Narumi finally became Alice’s true assistant, the bond the two share resemble a couple that have already been together for years. No need for all the cutesy lovey-dovey stuff — just the smallest amounts of affection thrown in amongst all the serious hustle and bustle in their line of work. What happened to Ayaka was a bit sad. While being comatose isn’t the best way to be alive, it leaves the door wide open for a deus ex machina situation that will wake her up — something I wouldn’t mind in the slightest after having to watch such a prominent character nearly die in such a petty way. Hakamizaka Shirou, the experienced genetic engineer whose specialty is botany, became the main villain like I assumed. Our lead protagonist, Narumi, who came off as a boring guy who didn’t have a care in the world and somehow turned into this outgoing beast that’s befriended the strangest of people. In the span of twelve episodes, I’m content with how realistic his growth felt. No random power ups, no dumb reasons to change his way of life — just the drive to become a better person to help support all the people around him. While the side characters didn’t have a lot of time spent on revealing just who they are, they still became individual characters who had their own flare. From Soichirou to Renji and Tetsuo to Hitoshi, everyone had their own individual tastes, mannerisms, and effect on Narumi. Plus, you know that the writers are doing a good job whenever a character speaks and you remember their name. In the end, I think Kami-sama no Memo-chou started strong, held up well throughout the season, and ended on a high note. With its easy to understand but compelling mysteries and lots of slice of life moments to bring the audience closer to the characters, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this show to anyone looking for a mystery that doesn’t make you feel stupid when the answer is revealed.

pretty interesting anime. Nice presentation and voice acting (since it is a recent release so this makes sense.
The story revolves around a group of boys and girls ( i wont be wrong if i say GIRL). They call themselves as NEET group. This groups main job is to bring truth to the front, The main character is a boy who is kind of pushed in this group although he does not wanted to. The second most prominent character is a girl who calls herself as a dante i.e. detective. She is well equipped with the technology to track down the most complex matters.
I hope u will enjoy it.
