Koo Hizuri Character

Koo is a famous actor, though his status as Ren Tsuruga's father is kept secret from the media. While he normally lives in the US, he returns to Japan for a short time in order to promote his new film and get in touch with his son, whom he hadn't heard anything from in five years. Koo's visit is doubly important, as Ren is in the process of acting a character his father had also acted 20 years before, in a remake of the drama "Dark Moon". While staying in Japan, Koo is attended to by Kyoko, who cooks for him and looks after his needs. Though adversaries at first, the two form a close bond and Koo even instructs her and gives her tips on acting her character in "Dark Moon".
