First Person View Theme
Tagged under Camera Angles, Tropes.
A first person view shot (FPV) is an image presented as if it is seen through the eyes of the viewer. It is sometimes
also referred to as POV shot (point-of-view shot).
Use this tag if (and only if) the characters in the
image are interacting or trying to interact with the viewer, or if the viewer is interacting or trying to interact with
the characters or other objects in the image. Visual novels often employ this trope by having the characters interact
with the protagonist, while only the protagonist’s hands are visible.
Note: if the POV
character/viewer's head is visible (example) or if the view is
anatomically impossible as a FPV shot (example), then it is a
case of third-person view, and this tag does not apply.
Tip: for convenience, use the alias "FPV" when
adding this tag to images.
