Hot Springs Theme
A hot spring is a spring that is produced by the emergence of geothermally heated groundwater from the Earth's crust.
Hot spring water is rich in minerals so, apart from relaxation, soaking in one can also be therapeutic. As such, they
are popular tourist locations.
Along with the beach, hot spring
resorts are a popular destination for "extra" anime episodes or manga chapters, where characters go on holiday for the
duration of the episode/chapter to take a break from the regular plot of the series. It even has its own TVTropes entry and a related tag: Accidental Pervert.
